Commissioning Process:
1) Johanna Wood works with the collector to agree on: medium, price, dimensions, subject matter, colour scheme and a timeline for completing the work.
2) Prior to Johanna beginning work, a collection of 50% of the payment from the collector will be due so we know the collector is serious.
3) Johanna provides images showing the work in-progress, which the collector reviews and approves.
4) Once the work has been completed, the collector approves the final image.
5) Johjo Design then collects the final payment, plus the cost of shipping from the collector.
6) The artist is able to request a final 50% payout as soon as the work has been safely delivered to the collector.
Johanna has worked on many commissions for over 30 years.
Commissioning is a great way to enable collectors and interior designers acquire works they love.
With good communication on all sides, the process is smooth and beneficial to both parties.
